A restoration, not just a campground

Born from forgotten woods

In 2014, this land was 40 acres of unmanaged, overlooked rural forest. With help from the USDA, Florida Forestry Service, FWC, IFAS, NRCS, and a knowledgeable private forester, we built a conservation management plan to bring it back to its native state.

When the neighboring 40 acres came up for sale, we happily doubled down. Twenty-five thousand planted pines and a great deal of sweat equity later, it's time to share this place — and invite others to join the conservation effort so it's still here for future generations.

Today you'll find planted pine stands, an orchard, untouched wetlands, walking trails, and fields planted for wildlife viewing. It's a quiet, peaceful escape — and your host is always happy to show you around and share the story in person.

Fair warning: this is a real working property. During the rainy season the grass gets a bit long, and you can expect a wide variety of agricultural activity — outside of quiet hours, of course.

Conservation in action

Working with the people who know this land

The mill

From our pines to finished lumber

The "Mill" in our name is real: we run a sawmill right here on the property, milling lumber for projects on and off the farm. It's the full circle of a working tree farm — plant, grow, harvest, and build. Follow along with our latest milling and farm projects on social media.

What guests say

Over 80 acres of trails, wildlife, and real privacy — and a spotless heated bathhouse that feels more like a lodge than a campground. We stayed five nights in the duck tent and would absolutely return.
— Anastasia J., glamping guest
Generator trouble slowed our trip and another campground turned us away — Will welcomed us at 11:30 pm with the light on. Peaceful, quiet, easy to reach. We'll definitely be back.
— Christine D., RV traveler
William showed us all around his beautiful property — fruit trees, gardens, chickens. We shared drinks and conversation around the campfire under the pines. One of our favorite places we've ever stayed.
